Data processing

Data storage
The data provided to us will only be stored until the purpose for which it was entrusted to us has been fulfilled. If statutory retention periods must be observed, these will be complied with.
If you no longer agree to the storage of your personal data, we will delete the stored data at your request. If your personal data has changed, we will correct it after informing you.
Matomo
We use Matomo (formerly “Piwik”) for web analysis, a service of “InnoCraft Ltd”, a company from New Zealand (NZBN 6106769) with headquarters in: 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand, using cookie technology. We use the “Self Hosted” version of Matomo. This means that your data is not passed on to third parties, as the software runs directly on our web server. In addition, we have configured Matomo in such a way that your IP address is truncated so that your personal usage data is only processed anonymously. Unless otherwise stated directly with the relevant content or function, texts created with AI support are reviewed for content by a natural person, editorially approved before publication and published under the responsibility of the website operator.
Where users interact directly with an AI system, for example via a chatbot, voice assistant, avatar or AI agent, they are clearly and understandably informed no later than at the start of the interaction that they are communicating with an AI system.
AI-generated or AI-manipulated image, audio or video content that could be perceived as authentic or truthful, as well as other content subject to labelling requirements under Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, is clearly and perceptibly labelled as artificially generated or manipulated directly with the relevant content.
Existing technical or machine-readable provenance and labelling information is retained where possible when content is processed further.
